James is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for patient care and rehabilitation. Born in Chesapeake, VA, and raised in the South Norfolk District, he has always been drawn to movement, fitness, and helping others, which led him to a career in physical therapy. James attended South University, where he earned his Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and became a licensed PTA. He also holds certifications in Personal Training and Sports Nutrition. With experience in both outpatient and rehabilitation settings, he has a special interest in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. Before becoming a PTA, James worked as a Physical Therapy Technician for three years, including two years at The Therapy Network First Colonial. After completing his education, he was excited to return to The Therapy Network family to continue supporting patients on their recovery journey. Outside of work, James enjoys weight training, basketball, and movies. He also has a love for donuts and a competitive streak—he’s convinced he’s the fastest person around!
